Hello and welcome!

My name is Colby K. Anderson, but you can call me "OneArm." I am an adaptive human who has faced physical and emotional challenges throughout my life. I want to share my stories and experiences with you in order to inspire you never to quit, no matter how hard times may be. Join me as I take you on a journey through the highs and lows of my life and discuss the lessons I have learned along the way!

Sharing my stories and experiences with you in order to inspire you to never quit, no matter how hard times may be.

Growing up with a disability presented its own unique set of challenges in terms of social acceptance, physical strength, and mental health. As a child, I felt like an outcast at school because of my disability. It was difficult for me to keep up with other children in sports activities or group projects due to having only one arm. This led to feelings of isolation and depression during my formative years.

However, as I grew older, I began to appreciate the unique perspective that being an adaptive human gave me. My disability forced me to think creatively about problem-solving—from tying shoes with one hand to finding ways around physical limitations while playing sports or participating in class activities. Looking back on it now, I know that this creative problem-solving ability is what eventually made me successful in college and beyond.

Throughout all of these experiences—both good and bad—I've been able to learn valuable lessons about resilience, creativity, perseverance, self-confidence, and self-love. It's these qualities that have helped shape me into the person that I am today: a freelance designer who stands for something bigger than just myself; something more meaningful than just a logo or website design; something that speaks directly from my heart: OneArm - never quit no matter how hard times might be!
